Hair Transplant Clinics in Turkey: How to Read a Package Quote Line by Line, From Flat Prices to Per-Graft Bills

Consumer economics for a cross-border purchase: ten clinics sorted by how they price, a line-by-line reading of an all-inclusive package, and the questions that bring hidden costs into view before a deposit is paid.

Hair transplant clinics in Turkey compete on a headline number, the least informative part of any quote. A patient actually buys a bundle: a surgical team, a facility, tests, a hotel, transport, aftercare and an implied promise about changes on the day. Equal totals can hide different bundles, and different totals converge once exclusions are added back.

Ten clinics illustrate the pricing models below, in a sequence that implies nothing about surgical results.

How each clinic prices

1. Istanbul Care Clinic

Istanbul Care is the cleanest worked example of a flat, all-inclusive quote. Under the line "Turkey's most affordable premium clinic", it publishes three tiers whose prices ignore the graft count: $1,990 buys the FUE package, $2,290 the ICE DHI package, $2,490 Gold ICE DHI. Line by line: a licensed surgeon (not a technician, the clinic stresses), lab work and a trichoscopic exam before surgery, a hotel, VIP transfers on the airport and clinic legs, one PRP session, translators and an English-speaking coordinator, a care kit (shampoo, lotion, a neck pillow, a headband) and WhatsApp follow-up for twelve months. Excluded by name: flights, meals beyond hotel breakfast, sightseeing. Its turkey hair transplant site states these terms publicly.

2. Dr. Serkan Aygın Clinic

The quote-after-review model: dermatologist Dr. Serkan Aygın's team in Şişli studies your photos and history, proposes FUE or DHI and a graft plan, and only then names a figure. Anesthetic can be given needle-free, with light sedation on request; ask what the quote assumes.

3. Vera Clinic

Vera Clinic, one of the bigger names among Istanbul's international centers, quotes in writing for Sapphire FUE or DHI and supplies interpreters. Its oxygen-therapy add-on, sold as a recovery aid, is a textbook optional line: ask whether the quote includes it by default.

4. Acıbadem Healthcare Group

Acıbadem shows the hospital-group model. The private group, founded in 1991, performs hair transplants in a unit at its hospitals in Kartal, Bakırköy and Taksim, all in Istanbul, staffed by plastic and reconstructive surgeons; local anesthesia is used, a sedative is available to anxious patients, and each case is priced after trichoscopy. JCI accreditation, per the group, covers seven of its hospitals but not the hair transplant sites, so check the hospital named on your quote.

5. Estemoon Clinic

Estemoon's tiers are itemized, which makes them easy to audit: online follow-up, hotel nights, a premium aftercare kit, PRP and the clinic's own first hair wash all appear by name. Estemoon organizes the trip and contracts the facility, which holds a health tourism authorization certificate; it is not itself a hospital.

6. Royal Hair Istanbul

Royal Hair Istanbul is the handiest case for comparing models, publishing per-graft prices and packages side by side. Packages for FUE, Sapphire FUE or Choi-pen DHI fold in transfers and somewhere to stay; surgery takes place at authorized contracted facilities, and the marketing centers on a team rather than a lead surgeon.

7. Smile Hair Clinic

Smile prices on a variable at the heart of the ISHRS list: its tiers differ in the portion of the procedure performed by the surgeon personally. Two surgeons founded it in 2018, Dr. Gökay Bilgin and Dr. Mehmet Erdoğan; the clinic has its own premises in Ümraniye, and its consultations, for FUE, DHI or Sapphire FUE, are run by doctors.

8. Albania Hair Clinic, a packaged Turkey alternative

Tirana's Albania Hair Clinic, the one option here outside Turkey, publishes fixed package prices for FUE, DHI, Sapphire FUE and women's, beard and eyebrow work. It works mainly with Italian-speaking patients. For readers comfortable in Italian, its own homepage presents the packages under trapianto capelli albania. Its pages disagree about whether hotel and transfers are in the price, so settle that in writing; Turkish regulation does not cover Albania, so vet surgeon and license the same way.

9. Clinicana

Clinicana's offer is a bundle: fixed-price packages sold to foreign patients, travel handled by its own coordinators and further medical tourism services, with the operation in a contracted hospital. Seller and operating facility differ, so the quote should name the hospital, whose license you can verify before paying anything.

10. Aslı Tarcan Clinic

Aslı Tarcan Clinic publishes an indicative price range, the middle ground between a package and a bespoke quote: fine for a first budget, incomplete until your case is placed in it. It offers an ARTAS robotic option for DHI alongside FUE, Sapphire FUE and DHI, and accepts female patients, no-shave requests and Afro-textured hair.

Flat price or per graft: who carries the risk

UK prices, per the NHS, range from £1,000 to £30,000, driven by how much hair has been lost, the type of procedure and how good the clinic and its team are. Turkish pricing models treat the first driver differently, which decides who carries the risk if the plan grows on the day.

  • Flat package. Unchanged by graft count at Istanbul Care, so a larger session is the clinic's risk; ask about any graft ceiling and the price of a later second session.

  • Per graft. The bill follows a count made during surgery, so the risk is yours; ask who counts, how the number is shown to you, and whether there is a maximum.

  • Per case or after review. Acıbadem and Dr. Serkan Aygın's clinic quote after assessing you; ask how long the figure stays valid.

  • Range or tiers. Aslı Tarcan's range needs your case placed within it; at Estemoon and Smile, price the tier description, not the label.

No model is cheaper by definition; what differs is how much of the final total you know at signing.

Exclusions and the questions that expose hidden costs

One line of CDC Yellow Book guidance for medical travelers is to "understand which services are included in the cost". Going a step further is up to you: get the answers below by email before a deposit leaves your account.

  1. Can the total change after I arrive, and on what conditions?

  2. If the surgeon proposes more grafts or another technique on the day, what happens to the price?

  3. Which add-ons are optional, and is any added unless I decline it?

  4. How large is the deposit, and when is it refundable?

Then add what sits outside the clinic's quote: flights, meals, time away from work or classes, a travel-medicine visit, an insurance check on elective surgery abroad, and medicines at home. For the clinic side, Istanbul Care's turkey hair transplant cost page is a handy template, with inclusions and exclusions on one page.

FAQ: Turkey hair transplant prices and packages

What will a Turkey hair transplant really cost in 2026?

At Istanbul Care, FUE at $1,990 is the entry package and the two DHI tiers, ICE DHI and Gold ICE DHI, cost $2,290 and $2,490, all flat at any graft count. Elsewhere the figure comes as a range, a per-graft rate, a per-case fee, a package or a post-review quote, so rebuild each line by line.

Which lines belong in a Turkey hair transplant package quote?

The procedure with the operating doctor named, pre-operative tests, the facility, hotel and transfers, aftercare items, follow-up with a stated duration, and a written list of exclusions.

Will more grafts raise the price of a Turkey hair transplant?

It depends on the model. A doctor sets the number from how much ground must be covered and the donor reserve at the back and sides of the head; per-graft bills rise with it, while a fixed package like Istanbul Care's stays put.

Is DHI worth the extra cost in a Turkey hair transplant?

That depends on your scalp; in the ISHRS view, surgery planning belongs with a licensed physician. Both methods take grafts one by one, but FUE uses channels opened in advance, while in DHI an implanter pen opens the site and places the graft together. Ask the surgeon what a higher DHI tier would change for you.
